1. For the outbreak of light, fasting is a necessity.
Walking in darkness is dangerous. If you walk in darkness, you’ll certainly stumble because there’s no clarity. Darkness is blindness.

2. Your shining is not a possibility until there’s arrival of light. Nothing shines in darkness. You’re not guaranteed any shining until your light comes.

3. The benefit of a fast is your light will break forth from obscurity.

4. Fasting makes for healing. When you fast, your health will spring forth

5. Food is very dangerous when you have certain pursuits in destiny. You must be careful. The first Adam was entrapped by food. The last Adam Jesus was tempted with food.

6. The honour of your destiny is His to know and His to unveil the things that are hidden around your destiny. That’s why we fast. It’s not just about not eating.

7. An encounter with the person of Christ and the Holy Spirit is the purpose of a fast.
