Activating Prophecy: Your Role in Fulfilling God’s Promises. Text: Acts 17: 25-31. 1 Timothy 4:12-16. [165]

NOTE

• By faith we understand that the world was framed by the word of God
• What you drive is not as important as what drives you
• Any destiny can have a turnaround. Just anyone can be great if you understand what it takes and engage properly.
• Whatever it takes to make destiny work has a cost. Life is full of options; you can choose to be great or small.
• Every true decision is backed by action. I chose to be great!
• Over every prophecy you have received, ask God what you must do to make it work.
• By the laying on of hands, you received the gift of prophecy.
• Holy men spoke as God gave them utterances.
• Prophecies are not given for competition, but they are given to announce a tomorrow that is glorious and to make you have a foretaste of the life ahead.
• Prophecies come out of God’s heart. Jer 29:11
• God thinks, plans, and brings it to your expectation.
• Deu 29:29…God opens his prophecies to you.
• God opens his prophecies to his disciples.
• Prophecies are given to set you on a good pace. 2 Pet 1:18-21
• Before Jesus came in the flesh, God spoke about it in Genesis.
• All of the world’s operations are in the word of God.

How prophecies come

1. The Bible is the sure word of prophecy. 2 Tim 2:15. The Bible has the promises, principles, and plans of God.
2. Acts 13:1…the other prophecy comes from the Holy Spirit himself, and he speaks expressly. Prophecies come with what to do (an engagement). The thing is I’m just hearing prophecy, but what must I do to make it work? Many people are stranded not because they have not heard the prophecy but because they have not engaged. John 14:26-27, 1 Cor 2:9-14. God knows the end from the beginning. Most people are too noisy and lazy; that is why they do not hear.
3. Prophets like God’s servant: Isaiah 30:19-21. Every generation God sends prophets. It does not matter in what container your prophets come; a prophet is a prophet. What the prophet set over you sees, you can’t see, and you don’t follow prophets with emotions but with vision. If God doesn’t hear you for you, he will hear you for your prophet’s sake. There are things you need that God puts in the mouth of your prophets that you can’t get anywhere. God is a God of patterns and principles. There are many things you know, and there are many things you don’t know. Prophecy does not know how much is in your account

Reasons for impartation

1. To awaken your spirit, even the spirit of grace and supplication. The flesh profiteth nothing. Phil 2:13
2. To impart giftings that will help you to be established. Rom 1:11. Where labour stops is where favour starts, and people favour those who have giftings. 1 Cor 12:31. There’s a gift in your life seated to make you excel in life.
3. Deu 34:9. There’s a wisdom demand for 2026, and that wisdom will rest on you, so when you come to a crossroad, you will know what to do. Pro 4:7. Rev 6:1-6. Sometimes when hands are laid on most people, it is like concrete because of unbelief and familiarity. There is no sent prophet who is empty-handed. Receive the laying on of hands by the prophet.

1. Daniel Ochonma: Before the 7DORS program, I attended a job interview. After the interview, we discussed salary expectations. I stated my desired salary, but the establishment responded that they had never paid that amount for that position before. The HR manager then asked me to leave, saying they would contact me if there was a need.
During the 7DORS program, this situation became my main prayer point. Remarkably, immediately after 7DORS ended, the HR manager called and invited me back. When I returned, they offered me the job at the salary I had requested.
What makes this especially significant is that recruitment for the year had already closed, but the manager insisted that I resume work in December. God truly gave me this job, and I have come to give Him all the glory.

2. Excel Benibo: I have come to thank God for healing. I had MP ++ in Nov and Dec 2025. However, I have come to thank God for completely healing me.
3. Mama: I have come to return all glory to God. My son called me to rush to his house. I went to see God’s servant before I went to his house, and she prayed for me. I went to see them at the hospital, to the glory of God, my daughter-in-law gave birth to a bouncing baby boy. Hallelujah
