Visitations for Turnaround. Text: Genesis 50:24 [165]

NOTE

  • Every true turnaround is a product of God’s visitation, and God always visits his people. There’s no visitation of the Almighty that leaves his people without a miracle.
  • The first visitation of the Almighty is to remove his people from bondage. When a soul is in bondage, increases becomes difficult.
  • The next visitation of God is for revival. Psalm 80:7-16. When you are revive, life returns. Revive me Oh God.
  • The next visitation is to perform his promise. God is not only a covenant keeping God, he performs his promise. Jer 29:10-14. When you pray you register your voice among divinity. Gen 21:1-6.
  • The next visitation is for favour. Visit us oh Lord with thy salvation and favour. Psalm 106:1-5, 44:3
  • God visits to give us light for directions. Luke 1:78-79
  • God visits us to give us peace. Luke 1:79, Psalm 144:12.

How do I get the visitation?

  1. Preparation: Amos4:12-when preparation meets with the situation the next thing is release. It is preparation that makes for performance. Gen 28:1. Preparation is a show of interest, expectation, agreement, Amos 3:3, Pro 23:18, preparation is a show of value. You can’t wait on God without preparation.

Practical ways of preparations

  1. Purpose: align yourself with the purpose, don’t just prepare for nothing prepare for something. Have a purpose, a reason. There’s no gathering of God’s people that is in vain. God has not called the seeds of Jacob to seek him in vain. You should have purpose for a thing and purpose for a person.  What do you want? Who is giving it to you? John 14:10.
  2. Have target: there must be a target for what you want and who is giving you the thing. It is who you will meet that is important. Desire to meet him, visitation is a possibility.
  3. Program yourself: programing is aligning actions with your time and resources. It is a spiritual responsibility.
