The Power of the Seed. Text: Luke 8:10 [165]

NOTE

  • The power of the seed is beyond description because no mortal can tell the power that is embedded in the seed.
  • The seed you carry is the future that is preserved for you. Once you are a seed bearer, just know that you have a tomorrow that cannot be stopped.
  • A fruit that has no seed in it is a danger waiting to happen, because it can dry up.
  • You see, life is the most important part of your existence.
  • When humans celebrate you, be careful.
  • The seed is not just about money; some people have plenty of money, but they do not have good seed.
  • The word of God will not fail in your life
  • People who stay with the Word never run dry. Eph 6:10-17…the word of God is whatever can stop any barricade. Heb 4:12, Psalm 119:11. When you’re working in God’s word, you will be able to detect the intents of the hearts of men.

Seeds

  1. God’s word—Proverbs 13:13–14. The most dangerous person to be with is a man or woman without a vision. What they are saying is that there is no movement in their destiny. They will always have a rope to drag you back, and if you try to make an advancement, they will tie you to their apron string. God is expecting you to see where you are going, and if you are distracted, God will be disappointed. God told Jeremiah, “What seeth thou?”.. Jer 1:12. You can’t show gratitude when you cannot see. Some people without pressure can see their vision clearly. while others struggle to see their vision. Isaiah 42:17-23. Isaiah 29:11 The vision of everyone is in the word of God; it is either delivered to you or you discover it. Vision is the greatest place of input and impart. People may not be able to tolerate your ascent, but if you have a vision, they can plunge into it. You run with vision; you don’t arrange it. Vision is not aspiration; it is not ambition; it does not come by admiration. Vision is unfolded in phases; some phases may be delayed. If you uncover your ground, you will get it. Vision is a seed; it is planted. There are standalone visions, and there are also visions that are connected to other visions.

To make vision functional

  1. You need to have clarity. You can be gifted with the gift of oration, but when it comes to ministry, get clarity. Know where you are going to; be steady, be sure.
  2. Make it plain to people where you are going; stop hiding things. Don’t bring people into your vision with confusion. What is your vision for destiny? Where are you going to live this?
  3. You will need a prayer altar to drive your vision, no matter the level of your education, but there are things that physical education cannot do for you. Prayer is not conversation; prayer is empowerment, engracement. Heb 4:16. Because in every vision there is a time of need, so you need prayers to know how to go about the needs. You need prayer for wisdom. James 1:5, and that wisdom is given to you on the platform of prayer. You need prayer so that divinity can activate humanity. Prayer is a show of acquaintance. Jer 29:12-13. There are people whose heads are wrong but whose hearts are right. God is always patient with the heart. Heb 1:16-19, 2 Thess 3:1-2. Pray, not everyone who says “I love you” really loves you. If you don’t believe in your own vision, no one will believe you. A vision will stretch you; there is nothing good that comes out from your comfort zone. Your expansion is in your strength. Where there is a good product, people will sell. The comfort zone is a danger to your destiny. Every vision starts small; what will help you grow is connectivity and gratitude.

1. Pst. Thompson Effiong: Sometime this year, before I went to work, God’s servant told me to call her when I want to go to work. I forgot to call her before I left for work; when I remembered, I quickly placed a call. I called twice; she picked up the second time and prayed for me. While we were on the ship, an incident happened that would’ve sunk the ship, but God’s mercy saved us, and the problem was rectified. I have come to give God all of the glory.
2. Ogbonne Favour Joseph: On Thursday morning, I went to minister. We had an issue with our chiller box, and the technician came to fix it. The process involved using a gas cylinder. I told him not to use the gas yet, but he refused and went ahead to use it. Immediately, there was a big bang, like an explosion. God saved us; no life was lost. I have come to give God all of the glory. Halleluyah!
3. Sister Chinyere Ede: My last year project, I asked God to make me relevant in politics, because that is where I work. God connected me to someone that help today. I am the women’s leader in PHALGA
4. Ashish Amadi: God helped me through my academic journey. I am a graduate. I have come to return all glory to God. Halleluyah!
5. Pst Cyndrel Izuka: God has been blessing my family. My Dad’s friend, who gifted him a trailer load of rice, called him again and handed over a finished 8-bedroom duplex to him. God be praised.
6. Sister Hannah Kelvin: Project number 3 has been answered. I prayed to God to help my husband get a shop. He didn’t only get the shop, but we won’t be paying for rent for the next 30 years. God is good.
7. Precious: God gave my daughter admission. I have come to say thank you, Jesus.
8. Miriam Sydney: God preserved my family from a fire incident
9. Blessing Opara: God saved my son from an eye issue that resulted from a fight he had in school with his classmate.
10. Jackson Adiran: My staff drove a customer’s car and hit 5 people, but the God of King’s word saved them; no life was lost. I have come to tell God, ese!
11. Rose: The day I entered this church, my spirit aligned here. I sowed a seed on the altar of God for a permanent job for my husband. I met God’s servant and told her about it. She told me that my husband will not only get a small job, but he will also get a contract. We waited for some months, but it looked like it wasn’t going to happen. I met God’s servant again, and I asked her humorously if the contract would still come, since his colleagues have collected their own letters, and she replied yes, it will come. On the 13th of June, 2025, God perfected it; my husband received his employment letter. I have come to give God all the glory.
