How the Hand of God can bring total recovery and good speed. Text: 1 Kings 18:41-46, 1 Samuel 30:1-8 [165]

Note

  • Certainly, God will do something good for you. The presence of God is a place we come not for fun, but in his presence is where we get certain blessings. When you are mindful of his presence, you will be liberated
  • God wants you to be a carrier of his presence.
  • What it takes to carry his presence: first is to honor him (1 Sam 2:30). How do you honor him? Honor is obedience. Luke 6:46…there is no greater honor than obedience. You will recover those blessings.
  • God says that “he that honors me, I will honor; and he that despises me, I will greatly esteem.” Every honor comes back with another greater honor.

Giving to the Lord stands for 4 things

  1. Honour: you can’t meet a king without bringing something
  2. Worship: They come to worship because they understand
  3. Covenant: they are keeping the covenant; the covenant is an agreement
  4. Investment: It is an investment; everything given and in whatever capacity is an investment

[  ] In true Christianity, we do not try to please God; we yield, and that way we have ease to serve God.

[  ] Nothing has gone too far to be recovered as long as death has not occurred.

[  ] 1 Kings 18:41-46…when you say amen this month, believe it with your heart. 1 Sam 30:1-8

[  ] When the hand of God is upon a man, it is not a possibility for that man to be conquered; you will be a mysterious person to others, because there’s a supernatural endowment that carries you. Elisha requested a minstrel to play. David was called, and the hand of the Lord came upon Elisha, and he ministered.

[  ] Engage in prayers when you want the hand of the Lord to be upon you. 1 Kings 18:44-45. Persistence in prayer is the key

What the hand of God can do through prayers

  1. The hand of God will grant you mercy: Rom 9:15-16. When you access the throne of grace, you will obtain mercy.
  2. A change of level, so that it can take away evil from you. The hand of God has to be on you so that the fibroid does not show up. 1 Chron 4:10. The hand of God does good.
  3. The hand of God will grant great speed; Eccl 9:11. God will bring opportunities, but you have to discern these opportunities. Life is about opportunity usage; some of the things you lost are because you underrated opportunities. Use opportunities, seize opportunities, and harness opportunities. God has a plan for you; don’t blow it. Wherever you are, do what you can per time, because you never can tell where you will be. Sometimes, for great opportunities to come to you, there’s one small something that is important to your heart that God will break. Don’t mind the dress of your opportunity; cease it
  4. He will teach you how to do things profitably; Isaiah 48:17-18. Nothing wastes a man’s destiny like error.
