Keep what God has given to you to attract God’s visitation. Genesis 2:1-15 [165]

NOTE

  • Every visitation of the Almighty God is always in the place where he has given you. God does not visit just for fun; God visits us in the vine where he has asked us to dress and keep.
  • John 17:12…it is in keeping those things that your strength is increased; your destiny is recognized. God does not just elevate people so that they eat and drink
  • Before man was created everything has been done, there’s nothing you’re are praying for that has not been done already. God gives blessings through channels of responsibility.
  • Genesis 1:27-28… the first word to man is “Be,” not “have”. You have to be a woman first before you can have children, be fruitful, and dominate. You can’t dominate without being fruitful.
  • John 21:16-17…the practice of Christianity and your relationship with God is in keeping what he has given you. The word “keep” is the greatest form of visitation. 1 Sam 17:29…God will always raise you from what you have kept. David read out his resume before King Saul.
  • John 14:21…your future is in what you kept, your glory is in what you kept. Psalm 121:5-8…the Lord is thy keeper. 2Tim 1:12…the Lord will keep you!
  • Gen 6:19-20…people will come to you for a reason, it is your responsibility to keep. Destiny is not about what you have, but the relationship you have kept. Rev 3:11…nobody will take your crown. Exodus 12:48

How to keep what God has given to you

  1. Focus: 1 Kings 20:38-42… You have to be focused in destiny in order to keep the things that have been entrusted to your care. Anything that breaks your focus has stolen your destiny in life. Anything that divinity has given to you, the devil is waiting for it. Some people can be so distracted by food. Anything that has been sent to you is either to your advantage or disadvantage. If God visits you again, you will be a man who keeps what is given to him. “Tonji” is lamp in Ikwerre, “entonji” is I am holding and guiding you, whatever you hear depends on the description you have. Distractions can come in the form of pressure or pleasure; sometimes you need to discern. A job can also be a distraction, thank God for the doors he closed, because not all doors are blessings. Sometimes, stupidity is Wisdom.
  2. Keep your tongue/mouth: Pro 13:3. If you keep your mouth, you will keep your destiny. It was the responsibility of the parents of Moses to hide him, you are exposing yourself too much. Storms do come but you can only hide yourself because what you have kept.
