The commanded Blessings. Text: Mathew 10:40 [165]

NOTE

  • It is possible to walk in the blessing all the days of your life
  • It is possible to experience the blessing till old age
  • A man of true knowledge, adequate knowledge, and relevant knowledge will always walk in the blessing
  • There are some levels of knowledge you have,e and you will be outstanding.
  • Some people have true knowledge, but the knowledge that is required to be outstanding in the blessing they don’t have it.
  • There’s a dimension of understanding you have and you think you are helping God, when people don’t have an understanding about the blessing they complain.
  • There are truths you can’t uproot from the existence of the earth. Your mouth can be an instrument of blessing and a curse.
  • Adequate knowledge means don’t stop learning.
  • Demand for true knowledge is to prove all things, and not accept everything. Demand for adequate knowledge has to do with space and time for people.
  • In relevant knowledge, you need to know how the blessing works and how it doesn’t work. Matthew 10:40, if you don’t receive the blesser, you will not receive the blessing
  • You can hate a lecturer in your class and still pass the exam, but you can’t hate your Pastor because you will dry up

Two kinds of blessings

  • Commanded blessing is that blessing that you receive by God influencing your blesser to give you things. 1 Kings 17:1-4; Elijah commanded that rain do not fall for 3 years.
  • When God commands a blessing on you, the blesser cannot resist God. 1Kings 17:9-10. They are influenced spiritually to bless you. 1Kings 17:13-14
  • When a commanded blessing should work in your life, it is necessary that you agree. You will follow divine direction to show you agree
  • For every commanded blessing, there is always a place, person, and time. Commanded blessings work with seasons
  • There are people whom God will create a special channel of provision till their rain returns.
  • Everywhere you are working, sometimes you take blessings and connectivity from there
  • When God wants to help you, he takes from the one you have and gives it back to you in great measure.

Qualifiers for the commanded blessing

  1. Walk in agreement
  2. Harken to divine direction. Isaiah 45:1-3
  • The blessings of God are hidden; only God can direct you to where they are
  • Lack of managerial skills, excessive attack, and lack of wisdom can make one lose wealth or riches.
  1. Divine instruction
  2. Defence for God’s kingdom. If you are against the kingdom, it will be hard to get the commanded blessing. Phil 1:17, Num 25:1. Don’t join people to condemn pastors
  • Once you’re up for the defence of the kingdom, you will receive the commanded blessings. Deu 28:1-9
  1. Holiness-sanctification is our watchword. Hebrews 1:1-3, Acts20:32
  2. Inherited blessing- most often than not delivers to you the blessings.
  • Inherited blessing happens surely through integrity. Prov 29:7
  • God knows people who have integrity, even man knows people who have integrity. Inherited blessing has so much to do with integrity. Psalm 78:70

Prophetic Utterances

  • I am strong, I am wealthy, I am favoured
  • You will receive commanded blessings!
  • Maybe the ears of people assigned to bless you open

Prophetic declaration

  • This season of your life will not remain the same, there will be a turnaround. Those who are sent to bless you will meet you

Ordinance

  • Every member went outside the church and prayed with the earth. We dropped some on the ground outside the church and took the rest home to drop in our various houses.
