NOTES

  • It is the blood that makes atonement for the soul
  • God is not just interested in cleansing you, but in saving your soul
  • The value you place on the soul will make you appreciate the sacrifice he made for your soul. Ezekiel 18:4

X-raying the soul

  • The origin of the soul is from God and can only be restored by God
  • Only the blood of Jesus can restore and atone for a soul
  • All of the properties in the world cannot be compared to a soul
  • A soul is priceless; God says, “all souls are mine.”
  • The life combination of the secret of the “blood” is only with Christ. Deu 29:29
  • God did not reveal the secret of the blood of man to man
  • No man/scientist can produce or understand the secret of the blood
  • The soul of man is irreplaceable; there’s no duplicate as far as a soul is concerned
  • The soul, even in death, lives forever
  • Animals do not have a soul, they only have animal intellect
  • The soul is expected to live forever till eternity- when a person dies, he drops the flesh, returning to the earth what belongs to the earth…Heb 9:27; Luke 6:46; 1John 3:7
  • When a person is born again and dies, they go to the Lord. those who are not born again, when they die, they will face the judgment and enter into eternal fire, and they will burn forever and ever unendingly
  • No matter what you are being given in this life, nothing can be compared to your soul

Why the blood? Eph 2:15-16

  1. The blood took away the enmity between God and man. Rom 5:9
  2. The blood is eternal, just as the soul is eternal
  • The blood of humans and that of animals may look the same, but they are not the same; animal blood has no spirit
  1. To give us peace. Eph 2:17
  • We fear God to reverence Jim not for terror
  1. The blood is a cup of blessing. 1Cro 19:16
  2. We have redemption; Eph 1:7
  • Satan doesn’t have you anymore
  1. To make us partake in his inheritance; Col 1 10-11
  2. The blood sanctifies us; Heb 13:12
  3. The blood brings forgiveness; Col 2:13-14
  4. There’s power in the blood; Col 2:15
  5. The blood brings perfection; Heb 23:21
  6. The blood bears witness; 1 John 5:6-8
  • There’s no covenant as the blood covenant, the blood carries life
  • When a covenanter and a covenantee understand each other, there will be mutual agreement.
  • No matter who has cursed you, the blood of Jesus can wipe it off

How to work in the covenant with God

  1. Value the covenant
  • You can’t draw virtue from what you don’t value
  1. Pray with consciousness of the covenant; Heb 4:13-16
  • Call the covenant to be
  • The covenant has principles
  1. Use the covenant of the blood for battles; Eze 35:6, Rev 12:11
  • Call the blood to bear witness; 1 John 5:8
  • God left the evidence of the marks on his body for doubters

Why would Jesus shed his blood?

  • He started back in the garden in Gethsemane because everything began in the garden; he started the intercession for the deliverance of man
  • The Crown of thorns: because the first thing he left when he came up was the thorn, representing the thorn of the ground
  • The Sweat of blood: because out of the sweatiness of man he will eat bread
  • The Ribs: because from the ribs of Jesus will the church (the bride) be born
  • The Clothe: They removed his clothes because man will be naked when he sins
  • The Nail on the feet: the nail on his feet is because, out of the heel of the child of the woman, the serpent will be suppressed
  • The Nail on the hand: because it is the hand they used to take the apple
  • The Cross was the tree that carried the apple
