Building Faith for Wholeness Text: Luke 1:35 [165]
Note
* For with God nothing shall be impossible! God is God. But how you perceive him is what determines his works in your life.
* God is God. What you think is possible is what is obtainable to you.
* God is God. How you believe him is how he performs for you.
* For with God nothing is actually impossible. Jesus says, “With men all things are impossible, but with God all things are possible.” How you perceive God is what is important. How do you perceive God? Is he your colleague or one being that exists in the universe? Your perception of God is what God wants to change, and that’s what arouses your faith.
* Faith is so important that nothing happens in this kingdom without it. Your faith-life is your life.
Importance of faith
- It pleases God; without faith, it is impossible to please God. He that cometh to God must believe that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. No matter how righteous you are, if you do not believe God, you are still a sinner. Faith is important because every life we live is the faith life. Nobody in this kingdom lives any other life. Everybody lives according to how they believe. Gal 2:20…Your faith life is what determines your overall outcome. Everyone believes in something, and it is that belief system that helps you.
- It transforms us: John 1:11—Faith is important because it is what transforms us. John 1:11…you don’t become what you don’t believe until you find a way to condition your heart to believe; no matter what you expect, you don’t become it. God’s ultimate plan in our lives is not just to receive things but to become. You don’t become what you don’t believe. God doesn’t just want to give you something; for instance, God doesn’t want to give you riches; he wants you to become wealthy. He doesn’t want you to practice holiness; he wants you to become holy. He said, “Be thou holy as I am holy.” It is your becoming that is important to God, not just your receiving things. God wants you to “BE.” A man came to Jesus by night and asked him, “What can I do to enter into the kingdom of God?” But Jesus answered him and said, “Except a man be born again…” So, it is not about doing; it is about being. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many that received him, to them gave he power to become the SONS of God… It is your believing that makes for your transformation. It is your believing that allows you to metamorphose into something that is greater than who you are right now. All that we will become is already inside us. We just need capacity to develop it as time goes on with growth process. That is God’s will for his children. Many times, we just grow in flesh, but we don’t develop capacity, and it’s painful. The truth doesn’t only set you free; the truth makes you free. We don’t grow in this kingdom without faith. Faith is important because that is how we are built, Jude 1:20. Building your own self in the most holy faith… Faith is important because it makes for our profitability. Hebrews 4:2…the word itself is powerful, but you must believe. God is a businessman; every word he brings forth, you take it and return all glory to him. 1 Thess 2:12&13… There is glory in this kingdom, and glory deletes shame. Glory is the moving, active manifested presence of God. The “word” is the word of God, but it only works effectually on those that believe. Luke 1:45…blessed is she that believes…Mark 5:30…faith does not push when others are pushing; faith has intentions, it touches. There could be a mammoth crowd in a place, but the person who receives a turnaround, a change of story, is the one who has the intention to touch. Sometimes it doesn’t look hopeful, but if you deal with your fear and project your faith, the hope will come alive.
Sources to arouse your faith
- God’s word—Every belief system is not faith. “True faith” comes from God’s word and its work. And the outcomes of God’s word. Rom 10:17. Faith cometh by hearing… When you hear it once, you may not get it. You keep hearing it until it saturates your entire being. When you’re too used to suffering and being tortured before one favour comes, the day one favour will come, you will doubt it. Hear it till your entire system is saturated by possibility vibes. Very soon there’s nowhere for the devil to stay. Because the more you are saturated, the more you conquer evil. You have to hear it in the morning, afternoon and night seasons. You can’t domicile evil; you are hosting the presence of the God who speaks.
- The voice of God: there’s a voice that follows the word. 2 Pet 1:16-19. You keep hearing the voice until there’s a new dawn in your spirit. Hear it, eat it. That’s how to arouse your faith. God will not do beyond his words.
