* When you begin to know that life is full of evil, then you must know the devices of the wicked.
Instruments/devices of the devil
Fear: 1 John 4:18…Fear has torment. If you want exemption from destruction, remove fear: this is because God loves you, and your destiny and the destiny of others are not the same. You must not fear what they fear because fear has torment. Job 3:25.
* 2 Tim 1:5-7…walk in boldness, not fear.
* Many times, it is ignorance that makes you afraid. Spirits try to make you fear, but they’re also afraid of you when you’re bold.
* If you walk in fear, you can’t walk in faith at the same time. 99% of the time, what you fear is actually afraid of you.
* Fear is an instrument of the devil. Do not house it, do not host it, and do not entertain it. There’s nothing that puts a man under captivity like his fears.
* Even the fear we have for God is not terror; it is reverence for God. Heb 2:14&15.
The fear of a man is a snare; it sets a trap for him.
- Error: Pro 26:25, 14:12… error, thinking you know it but you don’t know it. Looking at a snare or trap and seeing it as an open door; It is an error. You think it is okay because you are not able to visualize. Divine direction cancels error. Pro 3:5&6… In all your ways acknowledge him; nothing saves like divine guidance. Many people have missed it in life because they did not get divine direction. Sometimes everywhere is dry: and you’re having different thoughts running through your mind about a thing; don’t suppress it. As a child of God, sometimes there may be a signal in the form of disappointment, because all things work together for good to them that love God…
How the voice of the Holy Spirit comes to exempt you from errors
- Sing a song: Isaiah 30:29…if you’re confused about anything, just sing a song. Father, I declare that I love you. I declare an everlasting love for you. Once there’s a song, the voice of God will be heard. What you’re waiting for is clarity, and if you miss it, you will get double; nobody suffers a loss because of God.
- Listen to the voice of your teacher. Isaiah 30:19… Once you’re confused about anything and you come to church, listen well. God will speak to you. It doesn’t just take humility; it takes wisdom to hear the voice of your teacher. When you’re given instruction and you don’t understand, ask questions. Jer 6:16…make up your mind and listen to your teacher. There are things you can’t know all by yourself, but they will be put in the mouth of your teacher. You don’t know it more than your teacher.
- Humility: humble yourself and remove pride. Pride is very destructive; it closes the door of grace. God resists the proud man. A proud man says, “I have arrived.” If you arrive too soon, you will arrive too small. Life is in phases, and men are in sizes; no need for pride. All of us are all beginners.
- Sin: the wages of sin is death. All sins are unrighteousness. Pro 14:34. When you continue to sin at will, your face will be covered before God because his eyes cannot behold inequity. Gen 6:1-4…the Spirit of God will not strive long with man. The Holy Spirit warns you when you’re going astray. Draw near unto God, and he will draw near unto you. Please don’t play with sin; it is the property of the devil. Heb 12:14…where peace is, there’s holiness. Isaiah 32:17…if you’re not a peacemaker, then you’re not righteous.
- Curses: a curse is an inhibition against progress, and when this happens, frustration will set in, and frustration can lead to depression and then to death. Deu 30:19. The two most dangerous curses are those of parents, both physical and spiritual parents.
[ ] The work of the blood will not be complete without favor. Psalm 30:5…in his favor is life. Exo 3:21…the moment the blood comes on sin, favor follows. Pro 16: 13-15.
