Challenging your Faith for Wonders. Text: Philippians 3:10-13 [165]

Note

* Great faith functions in the midst of challenges. There are different types of challenges. When you’re seeing something that gets you tensed.

* And when we’re going through challenges, Satan starts speaking.

* There’s a place where your faith is lifted because you decided to take a step. No great activities happen in the midst of comfort.

* The greatest enemy to your success is not the devil but your last success or breakthrough. The path of the just is like a shining light, and it shines more and more. As you get one, God is saying there’s another level of glory, Philippians 3:10-14… we’re not going to sleep in the past success; we must press on towards the mark of the prize of the high calling.

* When you press, you challenge your faith. Faith is already in you, but you need to challenge it.

* Everyone has a measure of faith. Matt 17:20.

* In the place of pleasure, faith does not rise. Job 36:11…you can have pleasure, no doubt, but to challenge your faith, you won’t need pleasure. Psalm 16:11.

* God tests us, and God also demands that we put him to the test. Mal 3:8-10, Gen 22:1, Deu 8:2-3.

* There are some things that are testing you to know the level of your faith, not to kill you. 2 Cor 13: 5.

* God is not deciding to give you your promised land: he has given you already. God’s gift and calling are without repentance. The God whose word is “Yeah and Amen.” Do you still believe? In case your faith is dwindling and failing, challenge your faith.

* You must challenge your faith by knowing different dimensions of the word and how it comes.

Dimensions of the word of faith

  1. Sent word: Isaiah 9:8…in every generation and situation there is a word sent to you. The sent word gives directions. It illuminates and delivers you.
  2. Spoken word: the spoken word stands you on your feet. Eze 2:2. Faith cometh by hearing; when you hear the first one, it is a physical sound, and the second one is a rhema. Rom 10:17. You can use the spoken word to challenge your faith. “God said…”
  3. Word in season: Isaiah 50:4. When you’re going through a situation, there’s a word for it. This season is for my CONGRATULATION. Amen 🙏. Many of us, out of carelessness, do not recognize seasons. You can cry, but when you cry, then you wipe your tears so that you can see. Eccl 3:1. The word for you in the season may be for consolation or instruction. Challenge your faith with the word in season.
  4. There’s a revealed word: it can come by preaching to you or when you’re studying the scripture.

How to Challenge Your Faith

  1. Listen: In the midst of challenging your faith, listen to what God is saying. It could be your lawful right, but spiritually it is not your right. Look, your victory is in front of you.
  2. Take a daring step; if everything is just the normal way, you won’t be elevated. If you want to be seen, where you can be promoted, where thousands of people can depend on you, you need to leave your comfort zone, put pressure, and move up. Dare the undarable. It is time. Forget about who gossiped you when your time comes; they will gospel you. When you dare, your faith, God will be there to support you. Challenge your faith. Leave your comfort zone; you’re only enjoying what you got before.
