Prosperity and Connectivity Text: John 1:3 [165]

Note

* The earth is the Lord’s and its fullness. The earth here is the Lord.

* All things are made for him, through him, and in him do all things consist.

* You must know the power of a thing before you put your mind in it. John 1:3

* There’s nothing God can’t give you. God is the God of order; he is the only wise God. Everything he made

* A shoe is made for protection and beautification. If humans can produce a thing with a purpose, how much more the creator of the ends of the earth.

* God gives you a purpose, and that purpose is what attracts people to you. Every other thing you want to take without cognisance of the purpose for which you were created is a waste.

* If you are not living according to your purpose, you remain a beggar.

* God will not give you anything that will not advance his kingdom; that is why money is called currency because it passes.

* When God wants to give you a purpose He blesses you, and it is called empowerment. Gen 1:27-28

* The blessing comes by the impartation and laying of hands

* In providing you with men and resources, what is the part of God in the business?

How God gives you prosperity

  1. Blessing
  2. wisdom—acquired knowledge and application of the truth. A man without wisdom is a waster. Where wisdom is, that is where you can find riches. 1 King’s 3:3… you cannot have money without wisdom. Wisdom is good, and money is a defense.
  3. Spiritual gifts—Pro 18:16, 17:8…when you joke with the gift God has given to you, you become a beggar. The world celebrates gifts more than character. When you have the two is is called capacity. A gift is a gift; if it comes from God, then it is perfect.
  4. God’s part: this is to make you rich and connected.
  5. Grace: Grace for divine enabling. When you’re in your purpose, there’s a supernatural enabling to strengthen you. Phil 4:13, Acts 26:11. No matter how wealthy you want to be, if you’re a lazy child, people will run from you. You need grace to do what you have to do. There’s grace for life, fruitfulness, and marriage. For every blessing you’re looking for, you need grace. Without grace you can be tired out. 2COR 9:8
  6. Guidance—God’s donation to you meeting the people who you are supposed to meet. You should know how to prepare yourself before greatness asks; don’t disgrace yourself. Sometimes the person that holds the key to the real connection may look small; do not despise the pointer. Sometimes the reason why you need it to be established is you need the element first so that none of them will stop you. The most destructive thing is to turn you back on the one God has sent to connect to you. Connection has a ripple effect.
