Accessing the Light for Breakthroughs. Text: Isaiah 60:1- 13 [165]

Note

* Every true breakthrough starts from the point of light. If there are afflictions, resistance, and opposition in any aspect of life, light is the solution. Isaiah 60:1-13

* The point of light is the point of discovery, and it is never a possibility to get into any kind of advancement without light. In the beginning… Gen 1:1-3.

* Anything that has to do with struggle is darkness.

* Even in the hospital, for any test they want to carry out on a person or sample, they use light, e.g., X-ray, microscopical analysis, etc.

* Daniel 5:9-12…excellent spirit, knowledge, and understanding come from light.

* Eccl 7:11, 11:7…light does the exposing.

* Job 29:1-18…many times we are not down because we are weak but because we are ignorant about the light.

* If you walk in light, you are able to see between good and bad, the good for delivery and the bad to cast out any negative thing.

* John 1:1-6…Because Jesus came to die for us, therefore we are light. Matt 5:14-16.

* Isaiah 9:1-8… Jesus started from the point of light. Guide your light!

How to access your light

  1. Arise: Isaiah 60:1-2. Nobody in a sleeping state can see the light. The measurement of your glory is by the light you carry. Amos 6:1… you can’t just sit down there and do nothing. “There’s nothing in doing nothing.” Time tells nothing if you don’t do anything. Everything happens when you make it happen. Don’t just fold your hands and say, “If God wants it, let it happen.” A time will come when life will demand your own involvement to make things happen. You can be useless at 70 if you don’t act when you were supposed to act. The seed of the righteous shall be mighty upon the earth. It is not your greatness that makes a child great. Parents are only a channel to bring children to the earth. There are people seeking a breakthrough for the establishment of destiny, and when it comes, it stays because it is in line with the purpose of God in their life. Don’t leave your destiny to chance. Do something! Even prophecies are to be engaged. Eph 5:14… Christ does not give you light until you arise. You are in control because God has made all things well; it is you now who decides what to do. James 4:1 … God is holy and cannot force himself on man. You will be the one to draw yourself to God first before He will draw to you. Covenant of salt: in the New Testament we are priests and kings, and our blessings are in the covenant of salt. Nobody is supposed to know all your sources of blessings. Your light will shine if you decide to do something about the situation.
  2. Access God’s word: Psalm 119:105 & 130… the word of God is light. Allow the word of God to enter you. The light you don’t use does not work for you. Gal 5:25…Let us walk in the spirit if we live in the spirit. Isaiah 2:1-5…it is walking in the light of the Lord that makes grace abound. The devil may attempt, but he will not win because darkness cannot understand light. Psalm 118:27, 36:9. When you have afflictions and problems, it is called “darkness,” but when you shine the light of God as small as a phone torch, it enlightens you (phone-torch illustration). Now, you search the demand and the outcome; you confess it and speak the word over that situation. Isaiah 8:10-20…so if anybody says a thing about you when God is with you, it shall not stand. Psalm 18:27-28…so, even if there’s darkness, light the word of God. The real thing is what God has done. The spirit man is the candle of the Lord; speak the word of God into that very situation. When a child has jaundice, they place that child under a light for days, and when the light penetrates through the body and gets to the liver, it begins to respond, and the jaundice heals completely. Lord, let your light shine in my life and expose my destiny to your light. Amen. Sometimes the light of God does not shine because we bring our experiences. If you believe and you don’t practice, then you don’t believe. Many times we don’t practice not because we are weak, but because we don’t believe. OLRM this year will be a word feast. Breakthrough is not far. You practice the word. Luke 1:69-80…the dayspring from on high comes to give light. Sometimes it is meditating, and sometimes it is practicing, and it will cover every part of your destiny. Col 4:6… let your speech be seasoned with salt so you know how to answer every man. 2 Kings 2:19-22… Once your water is healed, no one can despise you. 2 Chr 13:5
