  • It is a good thing to give thanks
  • Thanksgiving is a choice factor, and only those who are thoughtful give thanks
  • It is an action that proceeds from the heart of gratitude
  • Until you learn how to be grateful you won’t be thankful. Psalm 100:1-4, 115:11-14. Jer 29:11
  • God is mindful of us. Psalm 103: 1- 3
  • Nothing remains at the same level after Thanksgiving
  • God cannot take your thanks and not fill your tanks

Why we thank God

  • We thank Him because He is our redeemer. Psalm 103:5, Psalm 71:23, Isah 51:11, 35:10, 55:11-12
  • Because He has done it. Isah 44:21-23, Psalm 106:12
  • Because there will be many weddings. Jer 33:11
  • Zeph 2:9-10

How do I thank God

  • Praise Him with a loud voice. Acts16: 25-27
  • Praise Him wild. 2 Sam 6:15-23
  • Praise Him with understanding. Psalm 89:15
  • Praise Him with a dance. Psalm 149:3-4. 1Kings 3:1-5. Mark 6:23
  • In Faith. Believe His word, sing His praise.

What can Thanksgiving do

  • It can awaken dead things from the grave
